How We Do It - Logistics
Many of AWA's activities have a large logistics component. To provide a fully intergrated solution to its customers AWA has its own specialist Logistics group that provides :
- Parts planning and procurement.
- Inventory management with multiple barcode traceability.
- Parts replenishment - with over 70% of agent requirements ordered, delivered and returned on-line via Web-AWAre.
- Reverse Logistics - managing the complete cycle, including working with our customers OEM and ODM partners and third party repairers.
- Our own warehouse facilities in each branch to provide flexible, secure and cost effective storage.
- Bulk Repair and Staging for product recalls, DOA screening, product refurbishments and reconfigurations.
- Asset Tracking of our customers technology base, from inital audit through to location management and repair histories.
- Advance Exchange programs to provide cost effective product replacement.
