AWA helps customers put their technology infrastructure in place. We specialise in :


Planning

Successful deployment of technology is all about planning.
AWA has a dedicated project team using "The AWA WAY" a PMBOK based project management methodology specifically adapted to our own requirements.

AWA planned, executed and delivered a product recall for a major technology vendor that involved over 10,000 in-home visits over a few weeks.


Upgrading

Keeping pace with change requires consistent upgrades to ICT infrastructure.

AWA successfully executed for one of its clients a national multi site router at a national bank over 9 months at 1,093 sites, involving 4,161 site visits, mostly after hours.


Installing and Deploying

From office moves and re-locations to more complex projects, AWA can deploy technology anywhere in Australia.

AWA completed for one of its clients a server migration at 102 sites. This entailed 444 visits over 8 weeks - some of which were in very remote locations - islands, up dirt tracks and even through snow fields!


Finding and Tracking

Knowing exactly where ICT assets are located is an exacting task.

Using mobile technology devices and custom software AWA undertook a comprehensive ICT inventory for one of its clients at 35 sites in 12 weeks. This indentified over 8,500 assets and provided the client with a comprehensive audit report.



Moving and Removing

Every year AWA assists one of its clients to exhibit at multiple tradeshows around the country.

This involves setting up the necessary ICT infrastructure within a few hours providing constant on site support and then removing and storing everything ready for the next event.
One series of exhibitions involved over 7,000 asset movements in one month.


Staging

Before equipment goes on site it makes sense to ensure that everything is complete and working.

AWA undertook the assembly of POS (Point Of Sale) equipment for an international customer, installed software, tested and then deployed the units at over 100 retail locations nationwide in six weeks.


Repairing and Refurbishing

Whether it is one off repairs or large volume refurbishments, AWA can do the job quickly and efficiently at its major Sydney repair centre or at any of its branch office repair centre. Or AWA can even put a team on to your site.

AWA recently undertook a refurbishment of over 3,000 printers in 5 days for a major client.


Resourcing

From short term secondments of trained staff for specific tasks or projects, to teams permanently embedded within our customers, AWA can provide the right resources for your specific requirements.

For 8 years AWA has had a permanent team of over 15 staff with its own team leader at a major bank providing day to day break/fix, IMAC (Internal Moves Adds and Changes) plus logistics support and consistently meeting strict SLA's. The customer's staff think they work for the bank!



Delivering

We don't just flick the actual leg work to someone else - it's AWA that delivers! AWA prides itself on having the right resources, the right systems and the right attitude.

AWA has its own warehousing, logistics and repair facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra, supplemented by a network of nearly 300 agents covering regional areas. AWA undertakes between 15,000 and 20,000 service activities every month.
